Our multi-purpose mapping and surveying tool is perfect for both professional and personal use. It is especially valuable in various land-based surveying activities, including agriculture, forest management, infrastructure maintenance (e.g., roads and electrical networks), urban planning and real estate, as well as emergencies mapping. On a personal level, it is also an essential tool for outdoor activities like hiking, running, walking, traveling, and geocaching.

The application enables users to collect Points and Paths for mapping and surveying purposes. Points, acquired with accuracy information, can be easily classified by the user using specific tags or characterized with photos. Paths are created as a temporal sequence of newly acquired Points (e.g., to record a track) or alternatively with existing Points (e.g., to create a route). Paths allow users to measure distances and form Polygons when closed, facilitating the determination of areas and perimeters. Both Points and Paths can be exported to KML, GPX, and CSV files for external processing with a geospatial tool.

Our application utilizes the internal GPS receiver of the mobile device to provide accurate positioning (typically with accuracies >3m). However, professional users also have the option to achieve higher accuracies by using a Bluetooth external GNSS receiver compatible with the NMEA stream format (e.g., RTK receivers with centimeter-level precision). Below are some examples of the supported external receivers:

In addition to these features, our application includes:

• Acquiring current position with accuracy and navigation information

• Creating Points with accuracy information, classification using tags, attaching photos, and converting coordinates into a human-readable address through reverse geocoding
• Importing Points from geographic coordinates (latitude, longitude) or by searching for a street address/point of interest (geocoding)
• Creating Paths manually or automatically by acquiring sequences of Points
• Importing Paths from existing Points
• Creating survey themes with custom Tags for classifying Points and Paths
• Getting directions and distances from the current position to Points and Paths using magnetic or GPS compass
• Exporting Points and Paths to KML and GPX file formats
• Sharing data with other applications (e.g., Dropbox or Google Drive)
• Configuring positioning sources for the internal receiver or an external receiver

The Premium subscription offers additional professional features including:

• Backing up and restoring user data (including data transfer between handsets)
